I think either you or the other person are getting game versions confused. If you're on SE or AE and the armor mod is SE or AE, you'll want to use Faster SMP. If you look at CBP sources the code for physics simulation is very simple. SMP can attach physics to (almost) any bone. CBPC is just for a few predefined. Incompatible DLLs will cause unexpected behaviour and CTD. Completely uninstall your current HDT mod and use Faster HDT-SMP instead. When the mod "Faster HDT-SMP 1.6.353 dlls" is installed via Vortex etc, the DLL files is placed in the wrong folder and it causes the game to load older dll versions, and move files manually. Even with fsmp expect major slowdowns in areas where there are lots of people that all have smp. Theres some mod that grants spells to switch people between smp and cbpc. Maybe it comes with cbbe-3ba?.
